Maria Guadalupe Romero, 90, passed away on August 30th in Watsonville, CA.

The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on September 19 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park cemetery in Watsonville. Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel in Watsonville on September 18 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and a rosary service will take place at 7:00 pm.

Guadalupe was born in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico, to Secundino Alvarado and Maria Jesus Torres on January 25, 1934. She enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her local church.

Guadalupe is survived by her son, Jose Enrique Torres, and half-brother, Isaias Becerra. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Romero.
