Dennis Raymond Wilson, of Isanti, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. He was 74 years old.
Dennis was born on January 26, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Richard and Eleanor (Laird) Wilson. He graduated from High School in 1967.
He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on May 14, 1968. He was discharged as a Sergeant in May of 1972.
Dennis was united in marriage to Beverly Ann Wallace on March 29, 1980, in Las Vegas. They made their home in Chicago where Dennis worked as a Mechanical Engineer. After retiring, Dennis and Bev moved to Isanti to be closer to her family. Dennis and Bev loved travel, especially their numerous trips to Las Vegas as well as being snowbirds in the winter months and traveling to different states. Dennis will be dearly missed.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and wife Beverly.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Richard (MaryJean) Wilson and Thomas (Barbara) Wilson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Black, Debra Wallace (Kenneth Hasskamp), James (Robyn) Wallace, and Vicki Wallace; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
