Nicolette Psarakis, a 26 year resident of the area, died surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was 64.
She was the daughter of George and Anna Aspras, and the sister of Marina and Michael. She was born in Brooklyn NY, on February 16, 1960. Nicolette was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a dedicated parishioner of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
She married Emmanuel Psarakis in Kasos Greece and together they celebrated 42 years of marriage. Together they share two sons, Michael and George. A daughter-in law Nicole and two grandchildren Emmanuel and Rosalia.
Nicolette had most vibrant spirit. She was caring, giving and had the best sense of humor. Anyone that knew her loved her. She was great cook and shared her culinary skills with family and friends.
Family was very important to her. She loved her job, her friends and co-workers. She was always the life of the party.
Life will never be the same without her but we will continue to carry on her beautiful memory.
Services for Nicolette will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
Friends may greet family 9:30 to 10:30. Funeral Services will take place at the church at 10:30 AM with Fr. Chris Talleos officiating. Burial will follow at Wallkill Cemetery in the Greek Orthodox section.
