Jerry Dale Brown Obituary

Jerry D. Brown, 62, of South Haven passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at home with his wife by his side.

Jerry was born on March 19, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Earl and Vicie (Burton) Brown, both of whom preceded him in passing.

Jerry was a jack of all trades and would help anyone in need. He enjoyed playing golf, pool, drums, watching NASCAR, drinking beer and spending time with his loving family.

Jerry spent his life working many different jobs, with the most recently being with Stattlers Tree Service until his health forced him to retire.

Jerry was united in marriage with the former Marlene Wilson on July 18, 2009 and they spent the next 15 years together.

Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Marlene; his children: Earl (Carrie) Brown, Jessica (Laura) Brown and Becky Brown; and those who he loved as his own: Kendra, Bruce, Sonny, Josh, Alex, Chris and Adam. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and by his sisters: Rosie, Charlotte, Janet and Alice; his brothers: Albert and David; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will welcome friends from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, where a celebration of life service to honor Jerry’s memory will follow. As to Jerry’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service. Memorial condolences for the family can be left on our website at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
