Rosario “Chayo” Gutierrez, 56, of Arkansas City, Ks: Formally Grand Island, NE. Passed away Friday, August 30th, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones

Chayo was born in Oregon, Ohio. At a young age, Chayo moved with her family to Idaho where she grew up. She attended Nampa High School. She graduated in 1986: Chayo would later go on to meet and marry Faustino
Chayo was a hard worker, she spent many years working for Advance Services in Grand Island, NE. She started her family with Faustino, birthing two daughters, and later adopting her son and daughter in 2004. She then moved to Wisconsin for a few years and worked at Woodland Hills in Racine; she moved back to Grand Island with her family. She never gave up and continued working as a Sales Rep. at Aarons. In 2014 she moved with her husband and kids to Kansas.
Chayo enjoyed playing and spending time with her grandchildren, her dogs, and her children. She spent her days watching her favorite TV shows, Dining at her favorite restaurant Daisy Maes, and Spending time with her husband at his ranch.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Faustino Gutierrez, and Her children: Gabriella, Abigail, Brianna, and Daniel Gutierez. Two grandchildren: Anais Gutierrez and Camilo Galindo. Siblings: Americo, Reynaldo, Roque, Rolando, Mario, Guadalupe Partida, Rebeca Sanchez, and Rafael Reyes. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews.
Chayo is preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo, and mother Genoveva Reyes, Nephew Americo “Jr” Reyes, and her lifelong best friend Tanis Arana.
