Anna M. Nunes, age 83 of Naples, passed away peacefully at UR Strong Memorial Hospital on August 30, 2024.

Anna was born on May 1, 1941 in Rochester to the late Charles & Evelyn (Whipple) Strassner. She attended Victor High School and was a homemaker for much of her life. In her younger years, Anna was an avid horse rider and enjoyed spending time taking care of them. She enjoyed watching football (Go Bills!) and NASCAR. Kevin Harvick was her favorite driver. Spending time on the deck with her “Kitty Kitty.”

In addition to her parents, Anna is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Nunes; and her siblings: Joseph, Charles, Albert Strassner, Evelyn Beaton, & Shirley.

Anna is survived by her children: Bradley Card Jr., Jeffrey Card, Debbie Card-Riehle, John Card, William Card, Sarah Card-Fowler, Roxanna Card & Katherine Card-Allen; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; her companion, Larry; her siblings: Harold Strassner, Carol Geer; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
