Juan “Papa” Padilla, 42, passed away in Yakima, WA on August 30, 2024. He was born in Toppenish, WA on February 23, 1982 to Javier and Rachel Padilla. He graduated from Davis High School where he also met the love of his life, Durae Harrison. Juan and Durae would have been married for 25 years next year and have five beautiful children together, Anthony “Alex”, Richard “Ricky”, Theodore “Teddy”, Amaya “Mymy”, and Ciara.
Juan was in landscaping for most of his adult life as well as doing freelance work until his illness got the best of him. But that didn’t stop him from being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and telling stories. Juan loved nothing more than spending time with his family, who he cherished and would do anything for. He will be missed and loved by so many and touched the lives of everyone he met.
Juan is now at peace and in Heaven with his mother-in-law as well as countless other families members whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his wife of 24 ½ years Durae Padilla, his children Alex, Ricky, Teddy, Mymy, and Ciara Padilla, his honorary daughter Adisyn Leonard (Timothy), his parents Rachel and Javier Padilla, sister Rachel “Bebe”, brother Angel Padilla (Anastasia “Peewee”), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
