Langston, affectionately known as Lanco, was a native of Grand Coteau and had been a resident of Breaux Bridge for the past 10 years. He was proud to own and operate Mayfield International Trucking Company alongside his wife, Krystal. He and his family attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. Lanco was a kind, gentle soul who will be remembered as the life of the party. He never passed up the chance to grab a pole and go fishing. He has been called home far too soon but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones until they can hug him tight again.

Survivors include his loving wife of seven years, Krystal Boudreaux Mayfield of Breaux Bridge; his three sons, Kingston Mayfield, Terran Broussard and Khizar Mayfield, all of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Marleigh Mayfield of Sunset; his mother, Roslyn Goretti Mayfield of Grand Coteau; his father, Jonty Coco and wife, Risa, of Sunset; his mother-in-law, Alta Dalcourt and husband, Glenn, of Carencro; his father-in-law, Donald Boudreaux and wife, Sandra, of Lafayette; his paternal grandfather, Martin Coco of Grand Coteau; three brothers, Collin Coco and Christopher Coco, both of Sunset, and Wyatt Carlson of Grand Coteau; and two sisters, Alida Coco of Sunset and Kaitlyn Carlson of Grand Coteau.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gilbert "Tossie" Mayfield and the former Anna Versa Key.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
