Dorothy McFadden Baker, 74, of Manchester, Ky, passed away Friday, August 30th, at the Saint Joseph London Hospital.
Dorothy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 4th, 1950, a daughter of the late Otis and Cora Turner McFadden, and loving stepfather, Martin Francis.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Baker.
She is survived by her sisters: Brenda Jackson and Jeanie Hodge and husband Terry Hodge; her nieces: Regina Friend and fiancé Tony Howard, Tonya Duffy and late husband Bill Duffy, Stephanie Roudebush and husband Larry Roudebush, Paula Reece and husband Jamie Reece; her nephews: Danny Jackson and wife Rachel Jackson and stepdaughters, Cora and Reah; her great-nieces: Ashley Hacker, Tiffany Craven and husband Josh Craven, Samantha Klinker, Shelby Swank, and Paulina Brown; great-nephews: Matthew Friend, Billy Swank, and Alex Duffy; her great-great-nieces: Haylie Hacker, Makena Friend, and Drosera Gay; great-great-nephews: Jordan Hacker and Lian Swank; and her best friend, Norma Scall.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her brothers: Hobe Deaton and Dean Deaton; her sister, Joanne Deaton, and her loving brother-in-law, Daniel Clarence Jackson.
A celebration of life for Dorothy will be held at 6:00 PM at her house. As well as a celebration of life that will be held from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on October 12th in Ohio.
