Hames, Fred, 85 of St. Petersburg, Fl., transitioned on August 30, 2024. He worked In hospitality management for the majority of his career. Survived by his wife, Carrie L. Hames; Children, Rodney R. Hames, Michelle Y. Hames, Alicia D. (David) Hames-Perry and Dr. Aderiane R.(Orlando) Hames-Lynch; two sisters, Dorothy Bishop and Betty H. Philyor; two brothers-in-law, William (Norma)Burman and Jerry E. Burman; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral service Saturday, September 7th, 1PM - Travelers’ Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation Friday, September 6th, 5-7 PM at Smith Funeral Home Home 894-2266
