Family and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the difficult news that our beloved Cousin Jeannette Ogando has passed away in the early hours of Friday, August 30, after a very courageous battle with stage four brain cancer. Jeannette’s journey was one marked by profound courage and unyielding spirit.
Faced with the immense challenge of stage four brain cancer, she confronted every day with grace and strength that inspired all who knew her. Jeannette's life was a testament to resilience; she never allowed her diagnosis to define her but instead continued to live fully, embracing each moment with love, laughter, and a deep sense of purpose.
Jeannette is survived by her son Gabriel, Daughter Gianna, boyfriend Gabriel Caminero, her grandchildren Adriana, Savannah, and Lorenzo, her mother Noris, Father Tirso, Sister Yasily and niece Ashley, brother Mario and nieces and nephew Mario Jr., Melanie, Karla, Noel, & Stephen, her brother Wellington and nieces/nephew Jordy & Julia. She is also survived by all of her family and friends which have come together from around the world.
Jeannette left us with a list of wishes that she wanted us to carry through after her passing:
NO CRYING - she was adamant about that
BE HAPPY FOR HER - She wants to be remembered for the happy times
DO NOT PITY HER - As she lived her life to the fullest
HONOR HER MEMORY - She wanted people to tell stories to Gianna about her and how much she meant to us
PLEASE SPELL HER NAME CORRECTLY - SHE DOES NOT WANT her name spelled as JANET, instead the real spelling JEANNETTE.
