Nettie Williamson Suggs of Loris, SC died peacefully at Conway Medical Center on 08/17/2024. Nettie was born October 23, 1954, to the late John Harley Williamson and Anna Lois Causey.
Nettie was a people person who never met a stranger and stayed actively involved while residing at Compass Long Term Care in Conway. Nettie made a point of knowing as much as she could about people and never missed an opportunity to chat. Her quirky personality brought a spark to every situation.
She spent 20+ years at AVX in various positions from assembly line to management. Sadly, she is predeceased by her daughter Amy Suggs who passed away in 1997. Nettie is survived by her ex-husband- Morris D. Suggs of Murrells Inlet; daughter Barbie S. Anderson (James) of Myrtle Beach; grandson Caleb Anderson of Myrtle Beach, and brothers Thomas Williamson (Cathy) and Randy Williamson both of West Virginia. Nettie will be greatly missed, but it is comforting to know she touched so many lives as a mother, wife, nana, sister and friend.
On September 28th at 10:00, there will be a celebration of life at The Oak Church (11331 Hwy 707 in Murrells Inlet, SC 29756). Immediately following friends and family are invited for snacks and memories at the Forestbrook POA Clubhouse (1100 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579).
