Theresa Battista was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Montclair where she graduated from Montclair High School. During her senior year of high school she started working for NJ Bell where she stayed for 30 years before retiring. She recently settled in Lyndhurst with her niece Debbie, where she lived until the time of her death.

As a young woman, Theresa traveled to many different places with her girlfriends.

Theresa is survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friend of 67 years, Doris Delmont. She is predeceased by her parents Alfonse Battista and Margaret (Nittolo)Battista, brothers Carmen and Alfonse Battista and sisters, Angelina Innarella, Neva Battista and Marguerite Innarella.
