Elizabeth Lorraine Rutherford, age 76 of Mineral Point and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side, listening to her favorite music. She was born on December 27, 1947, daughter of the late Russell and Iva (Amidon) Wolfe in Waukesha. Beth married Randolph Rutherford in Waukesha on June 3, 1967, and they were blessed with 45 years together.

Beth was always busy doing something. She had several jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed cleaning, which eventually led her to the Boscobel Hospital and Nursing Home for housekeeping. Prior to housekeeping, she mostly did childcare whether it was for friends and family or as a certified in-home daycare provider. She loved to spoil her babies. Some of her hobbies included; cross stitching, sewing, crafting, upcycling, playing solitaire and yahtzee, going for walks, loving her cats, dancing, listening to music, and camping.

She is survived by her children Melitte (Tim) Gundlach of Mineral Point, Richard (Jennifer) Rutherford of Sextonville, Randy (fiancée Cassie Wolc) Rutherford of Boscobel, and Faith (Jeff) Sauers of Fennimore, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sisters Denice Wolfe of Eagle, WI, Renee Cechvala of Missouri, Danny Wolfe of Watertown, and James Wolfe of Waukesha. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Randolph Rutherford, brothers Edward, Ronald, and Dennis Wolfe; sisters Sharon Mitchell, Rickie Gallenberg, and Shelby Winzenburger, along with her parents.

The funeral service for Beth will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel with Pastor Scott Craddock officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her husband at the Boydtown Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at the Wauzeka Century Hall, 213 E Front St, Wauzeka. All are welcome to join us in celebrating her life.
