Dianne Louise Lancaster (Hanson) was born on December 20, 1944 in Randall MN to Otto and Dorothy (Workman) Hanson.  She grew up on the family farm outside of Little Falls MN.
She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1963.  She was involved in speech, and was the “Voice of Democracy” winner for 2 years.   She was the vice president of the Library Club and was also involved in the Future Nurses of America.
After high school she worked multiple jobs but mainly as a nursing assistant and Caregiver.  Including 23 years at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.

She was an avid reader of a variety of books, love to crochet, knit and sew.  Her garden was a source of pride.  As a caregiver at heart her biggest joy was to help people.  With a kind soul and gentle demeanor she was willing to assist other people with kind words, conversation with a cup of coffee, a place to stay, or with her gentle look/smile that said “we are OK and I am here to help”.

Preceding in death were her parents Otto and Dorothy (Workman) Hanson.  Her brothers Orville Hanson, Clyde Hanson, sister Debbie Byrum (Hanson), grandchildren Dillion Lancaster and Shantel Lancaster.

Remembering Dianne Louise will be her children Brian Lancaster (Clarissa), Karin Lancaster (Clarissa), Glen (Cinnamon) Lancaster (Clotho), Kyle (Carrie) Lancaster (Audubon), and Andrew (Heather) Lancaster (Clarissa). Her brothers Dale (Diane) Hanson (Clarissa) and Roy (Louise) Hanson (Marion IA). Her sister Loretta (Dan) Thompson (Bemidji). Six grandchildren; Katelyn (Derek) Boie, Devin, Kristin, Logan, Ty, Trey Lancaster.  One great grandchild with Briggs Boie.  Also with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
