Dawn M. DeGouff

Dawn M. DeGouff, 56, of New Hartford passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Wynn Hospital in Utica.

She was born on November 24, 1967 in Herkimer, NY a daughter of Phil and Sally (Carrow) DeGouff. She was a resident at the Gan Kavod at the Sitrin Home in New Hartford. Prior to her living in New Hartford she was a resident at the DDSO in Mohawk, NY.

Dawn is remembered by her family and her resident staff members as a very happy loving person. She was everyone’s friend. She was just an all-around great person. Her smiling face and welcoming personality will be sadly missed by her many resident caretakers and family members.

She is survived by her sister Darcie Plumb of Cleveland, NC, and her brother and sister-in-law, Darren and Shanesha DeGouff also of NC. She was predeceased by her mother Sally A. DeGouff.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Thursday, September 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery in Utica. Arrangements are with the Smith Funeral Home Sauquoit, NY
