Jose Odalis Ortega Torres, age 55 of Lawrence, MA, passed away August 30th, 2024, at Lawrence General Hospital. Jose was born on October 15, 1968, in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He came to Lawrence in the year 2010. Jose had four children, Jose Odalis Ortega of Lawrence, Karolyn Ortega, of Haverhill, Carolina Ortega, of New York, and Yelline Ortega, of Dominican Republic. Jose loved to go to work, and go to Dominican Republic for vacation. He loved to play dominoes with his family and friends. Jose was a very kind and caring person, he would help anyone out that needed a hand. Who would put another persons needs before his own.

Jose is survived by his children, Jose Odalis Ortega of Lawrence, Karolyn Ortega, of Haverhill, Carolina Ortega, of New York, and Yelline Ortega, of Dominican Republic. His mom Maria F. Torres of Lawrence, his eight siblings, six grand children.
