Marie (Griffin) Enright, beloved wife of the late Patrick Enright died August 29th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 85 years old. 

She was born in Scart, Gortlea, County Kerry, Ireland on August 10th, 1939, to John and Maryellen Griffin. She was one of 13.  

Marie left Ireland to go to England where she met Patrick Enright. They were blessed with four children Sean, Siobhan, Kevin, and Colleen. After spending time in England and Ireland Marie and Pat moved to West Yarmouth, Massachusetts on September 19th,1985.  It was in  West Yarmouth that Marie dedicated her time to raising her family.  She also worked at the Cape Cod Irish Village which she dearly loved.  Marie’s most treasured time was being with her family. She also loved local drives to enjoy the scenery, fun lunches, and daily visits to local ice cream shops. 

Marie is survived by her children Sean Enright and his wife Sharon, Siobhan Brunkard, Kevin Enright and his wife Katie, and Colleen Marotta. Marie leaves behind seven grandchildren; grandsons- Patrick Brunkard, Owen Enright, Cullin Enright, and granddaughters- Caitlin Marotta, Ashlin Enright, Ciara Enright, and Michaela Enright. She will also be missed by her loving siblings Patricia Edwards, Eugene Griffin (Sheila), Kathleen Watson (Sean), Bernadette Griffin, Anne Regan (Paddy), Patrick Griffin, Vera Crowe, and Christina Griffin.  In addition, many beloved nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Patrick Enright, Thomas Griffin, Ina Heffernan (Paul), Maurice (Moss) Crowe, James (Seamus) Heffernan, and Joseph Edwards.

A wake will be held Friday, September 6th from 5-7 p.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth.  A funeral Mass  will be held Saturday, September 7th at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X. Catholic Church in South Yarmouth.  Burial will follow at Chandler Gray Cemetery, West Yarmouth.
