Eileen W. Brewer, 68, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, at her home with her husband Steven and son Joel by her side.

She was born December 2, 1955, in Geneva, IL, the daughter of Robert and Yvonne (Braband) Schroeder.  Eileen graduated from Geneva Community High School, Class of 1973. 

Eileen married Steven Ray Brewer November 22, 1975.

She is survived by her husband Steven; her son Joel (Timothy Schultz); her grandson Adrian Brewer-Schultz; her sister Joyce (Dale) Hager; her brother Craig Schroeder; her mother-in-law Roberta Brewer; her two brothers-in-law Robert (Connie) Brewer and Richard (Susan) Brewer; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; and so many others that she was blessed to call friend.

She was preceded in death by her son Joshua Eric Brewer; her parents; her brother Dale; her infant sister Rhonda; her father-in-law John Brewer; and her nephew Evan Brewer.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 530 W State Street, Sycamore, with Rev. Stephen Persson officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
