Charlie Reed, 56, of Parkersburg passed away August 30, 2024 at his Residence. He was born October 14, 1967 in Tacoma Park, Maryland a son of the late Charles and Judy Reed.

He was a US Army veteran serving his country for 22 years. He then worked as an armed guard at the Bureau of Fiscal Management. He loved to ride motorcycles and spend time with his family and friends

He is survived by his wife Wendy Reed; daughter Kayla Causey of KY; step-daughter, Morgan Gilbert of Parkersburg; Paps special boy Marvin; Paps two special girls; brother, Tommy; half-brother Mark; two sisters, Lois and Crystal; half-sister, Tina; step-sister- Tammy and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Baker.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 5-7 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV.

Donations in Charlie's memory may be sent to the family to support the raising of his adopted children.
