Dr. Alexander Bunt, Jr., age 80, passed away on August 31, 2024, at his home in West Chester, PA.

Dr. Bunt was raised in Upper Darby, PA, and was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. He went on to attend the National College of Chiropractic and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During his career as a physician, Dr. Bunt was recognized by The American College of Family Physicians as a Fellow in the Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians due to his outstanding service to his profession and his community. Dr. Bunt also served as the Chairman and was a member of the Impaired Physicians Committee for the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association. During the 1970's Dr. Bunt spent time with Reverend Howard O. Jameson in Puerto Rico assisting with his mission work and led lectures to congregations of Presbyterian Churches on the topics of AIDS and Degenerative Joint Arthritis. From 1995 to 1996 he hosted a radio program, 'House Calls with Dr. Bunt'.

He was a member of the Faith City Family Church in Newark, DE. Dr. Bunt's love and care for his community, patients, and particularly, his family, will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

He was the son of the late Alexander and Rose Bunt.

Survivors: His beloved wife, Judy Bunt; children, Bryan Bunt and Vicky Bunt Logothetis (Jim); grandchildren, Alexa and Kelly Logothetis; brother, Ronald Bunt of Harleysville, PA.
