Rhonda Kay Krinard, 68 of Kevil passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah. She was born to the late James Martin and Sandra Sue Collins Crews on July 4, 1956, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
A proud graduate of Murray State University, Rhonda earned her bachelor's degree in Music Education, a field that was not just a career but a calling. Rhonda suffered hearing loss as a child, but still became an accomplished musician, playing and teaching piano and organ with gentle patience and inspiring dedication. Her students and peers alike admired her for her talent and her ability to share the joy of music with others. Her passion for music was only matched by her devotion to her faith. As a dedicated member of Heartland Church, Rhonda's spiritual journey was filled with grace and harmony. She continued to serve the Lord through her gift of music as the church pianist at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Before her retirement in 2022, she was a familiar and friendly face at First community Bank of the Heartland, where she worked as a bank teller for over 30 years, always greeting customers with a warm smile and kind words. Her later years were spent as a devoted homemaker and “Mimi” to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Neal Krinard of Kevil; her daughter, Emily Renee (Andrew) Esau of Paducah; four grandchildren, Cooper Rhys Esau, Fletcher Ray Esau, Calvin James Esau, and Flynn Martin Esau; two sisters, Trena (Dean) Tucker of Kevil and Janna (Terry) Gordon of Wickliffe; three nephews and a niece along with a great-niece and great-nephew; sister-in-law, Clarinda (Ronald) Hodges of Hernando, MS and their family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Nathan Joyce and Rev. David Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Kevil.
