Regina Faye Newcome, also known as “Sis”, age 65, resident of Leavenworth, KS, passed away on August 30th, 2024, in her home with family by her side. Visitation will be 2:00pm Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center Gardner, Kansas followed by a service at 2:30pm. Regina was born the daughter of Samuel and Stella Faye (Harrison) Newcome, on May 21st, 1959 in Kansas City, KS. Regina enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends. Regina was caring, loving, always willing to lend a hand, and loved her daughter and granddaughters, as she referred to as “her girls”, more than anything.
Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Faye, sister Tamara, sister in-law Kathy, niece Julie, nephew Russell, great nephew Dalton, ex-husband Bruce Coonce, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
Regina is survived by one daughter, Brandy (George) Spencer, of Linwood, KS, two granddaughters, Jordyn and Brooke Spencer, four brothers, Clyde "Bill" (Karen) Newcome, Pleasanton, KS, Donald Newcome, Pleasanton, KS, Kenneth (Sue) Newcome, Wellsville, KS, Samuel (Lora) Newcome, Clinton, MO, one sister Patricia (Mike) Peirce, Ludlow, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
