Bertha Rosa Anderson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024. Born on August 1, 1949, she brought joy and love to all who knew her. She lived a life filled with love and unwavering faith.


Bertha Rosa Anderson was a devoted mother to her four children: Lloyd David Anderson, Sharon Anderson (Bergie) Speaks, Mary Anderson (James) Mounce, and the late Ronald Thomas Anderson. She was a proud grandmother to Kayla Mounce (Jacob) McCoy, Bergie Cephus (BC) Speaks IV, Brooklyn Nicole (Owen) Blink, Charity Faye Speaks, and Thomas James Speaks. Her joy extended to her two great-grandchildren, Blakely Elizabeth McCoy and Elliot Bravo Speaks.


Her favorite color was red, a vibrant reflection of her vibrant spirit. She was a devout Christian and found solace and peace in her faith.


She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A private memorial service for family only will be held on August 31st, 2024 at 3pm at Johnson Funeral Home in Elkin.


Bertha Rosa Anderson is now in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
