Shirley A. Washabau, 88, of Greensburg, died Friday, August 30, 2024. She was born February 29, 1936, in Ben Lomond, AK, the daughter of the late Hersey Z. and Marjorie Terry Carver. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wade K. Washabau; a brother, Dickie Carver; and her stepfather, Gwinn Akers. Shirley is survived by a son, Kevin (Sherry) Washabau, of Youngwood; three daughters: Teresa Capasso, Cynthia Porterfield, and Anita (John) Puskar, all of Greensburg; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation or service. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
