Wolf, Daniel “Dan” Michael (March 29, 1961 – August 30, 2024)

Passed away, with dignity, following a courageous battle with terminal illness, Daniel “Dan” Michael Wolf, of Tillsonburg, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on August 30th, 2024, at the age of 63. Dan will be remembered for many things, his character, his humour, his intriguing personality, and for his selflessness. Always one to put other needs before his own, Dan continued to do so when confronted with terminal illness. Truly one of a kind, Dan will be missed and always in the hearts of his family and friends. Dan was an employee with Danko Power Generation for 17 years and more recently was a dedicated employee with Agropur for 10 years. Dan appreciated the art of restoration and classic cars, which gained him many good friends over the years. Dan is survived by his loving mother Sophia (Dadrich) Wolf (late husband Daniel Sr.), of Tillsonburg and by his caring siblings Debbie Ungar, of Tillsonburg; Linda Ungar (Mike), of Tillsonburg; Christine (Chris VanDenBrink), of Tillsonburg. Dan is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, his close friend Randy French, as well as many lifelong friends.

In keeping with Dan’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Public visitation will be held on Friday, September 13th, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 14th, between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A Public Memorial Service to honour and celebrate Dan’s Life and Memory will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, led by Chaplain Tina Dias. Inurnment follows in Tillsonburg Cemetery.
