Rev. Verly Mae Jones Obituary
Rev. Verly Mae Jones, 80, of Norlina passed away on August 30, 2024 at Duke University Hospital. She was born in Franklin County to the late Walter Jones and Pidie Johnson Jones.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow at Sandy Grove Baptist Church. A viewing will be held from 2pm-5pm, Friday at the funeral home. A viewing will also be held from 11am-12pm at the church and the service will immediately follow.
Survivors include her spiritual daughter, Yashonna Adams; her siblings, James Jones Sr, Samuel M. Jones and Joseline Tulier; and a host of other relatives.
The funeral service will be live streamed and can be accessed through the facebook page of Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
