Joshua Laten Starnes age 39, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Joshua was born in Chattanooga, TN, on December 13, 1984, the son of Robert Starnes and Loretta “Retta” Starnes Richardson. He attended Fearless Church. Joshua was a free lance consultant for Mowrator where he assisted with research and development of the robotic lawnmower. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jere Starnes; paternal grandmother, Jackie Starnes; maternal grandmother, Martha Hodge Johnson; maternal grandfather, Lloyd Dotson; sister, Jessie Anna Starnes; and an uncle, JR Starnes.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Taleisa Starnes, to whom he was married on January 1, 2021; son, A.J. Dennis; daughter, Zoey Wilson; brother, Alequa Richardson (Melanie); two sisters, Jennifer Starnes and Aponi Richardson; two nieces, Journee Starnes and Brinlee May; and a nephew, Raylan May.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
