Michael Alvin Seymour Obituary

Michael Alvin Seymour, age 65, passed away peacefully on August 30th 6:04pm at St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL. He was born on November 22nd, 1958 in Nassau, Bahamas. His parents were Mr. Delegal Seymour and Mrs. Mayrona Seymour. He leaves behind two sons, his eldest Ichael L. Seymour and youngest VaChaen T. Seymour. Michael also leaves behind his surviving siblings, Steven Seymour, Marvie Seymour, Carlton Seymour, and Sharona Seymour. He also leaves behind his partner Delia James along with many other good close friends in Florida and the Bahamas.

Michael’s parents were both devout Christians and served the Church throughout their adult life. They imparted unto Michael, faith, wisdom, love, and kindness. Michael was a man of many words but more expressive through his actions. Never shy to give good advice, to give lessons, and to lead using his life as an example. Anyone who has known Michael has gotten to know a man of character, a man of compassion, and a man full of love. His heart was as abundant as his love for trees and flowers. He spread his kindness like a seed and sown into the earth the passion he had for life. As for the family, friends, and loved ones, they will surely reap the fruits and benefits of his love and kindness for time immemorial. For love is like a seed; “Cut the fruit open, count how many seeds you see. Now, take this seed and tell me how much fruit this contains. That is the miracle of the seed” - Michael A. Seymour

Ecclesiastes 3 9:14

“9 What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him”
