John Mathieu Raffiani, Jr., 58, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born in Hudson, NY on June 2, 1966, to John Mathieu Raffiani, Sr. and Barbara Cain Raffiani. John faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was currently employed at Robins Air Force Base as a Logistics Manager. He was known by his family and friends as a jokester, mentor, and a kind and loving man. He loved history, traveling, his dogs and enjoyed spending time with his family.


John is survived by his beloved wife, Leah Jo (Henning) Raffiani; his children: Jocelyn Cyr (John) of Jay, ME, Ean Raffiani (Alexus) of Kathleen, GA, Maggie Raffiani of Kathleen, GA, and Landon Raffiani of Kathleen, GA; grandchildren: Tucker Cyr, Raigen Cyr, and Ryder Cyr; sisters: Cassandra Dauski (Dwayne) and Renee Raffiani; nieces and nephews: Dakota, Colton, Skyler, and Sidney.


At the request of his family, services will be private. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
