Daniel Anthony Deceder, 74, of Beaver, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 24, 1949, in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Albert and Antoinette (Evanstanko) Deceder.

Danny graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1967, received his Associate degree from Penn State University and went on to become a realtor from 1976-1988.

He then became a Commercial Appraiser, opening his office, Daniel Deceder Appraisal Services, in Beaver, working until his retirement in 2014. He had a very successful business.

Dan also served on the Beaver County Board of Realtors, was Realtor of the year in 1993, served as president of the Beaver County Board of Realtors in 1985, and taught real estate classes at Penn State Beaver. He became president of Pittsburgh Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 1999, and also served on Beaver Borough council for eight years and as past president of Deer Trails Country Club.

Danny loved golfing, owning Airedale dogs and Jethro Tull.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Denise (Kozlina) Deceder; two sons, Justin (Afton) Deceder and Daniel (Julia) Deceder; two grandchildren, Avery and Milo; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Joe Bufalini; and many loving nieces, nephews, and members of the Kozlina family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta Mushalansky, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and Wasso Kozlina.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 3pm until 7pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA 15001, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11:45am.

Private interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
