Stanley Wuchevich Obituary

Stanley Wuchevich, 79, of Washington, Amwell Township, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

Stanley was born on December 20, 1944 in Library, PA, a son of the late Mitchell and Nellie Volovich Wuchevich.

Stan proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired as maintenance manager at Swallow Hill Condominium Complex in Pittsburgh. Stanley was jack of all trades and the “Mr. Fix-It” in his family. Stanley was talented, he knew how to fix just about everything and was very skilled in body work. Stanley loved working on cars and just tinkering around the house. All projects were put aside when the Steelers games were on. Stan was right in front of his TV cheering on his team.

Above all, Stan truly had a heart of gold. His heart stretched out to everyone that crossed his path. Stan was a lover of animals, especially dogs and cats and the deer and wildlife that roamed in his backyard. He had a special bond with his dog at home, JC. Those two were inseparable and spent all their time together. The family man that Stanley was, he never missed an occasion to be with them. His love for his family was always very evident and he truly cherished all their time spent together.

Surviving are his children, Nealie (Vladimir) Cruz and Stanley (Azalia) Wuchevich, grandchildren, Samuel, Kevin, Frankie, Chelsea and Briana, loving companion, Darlene Uselton, brother, Mitchell (Barbara) Wuchevich Jr., nephew, Larry (Joey Lynn) Kittelson, cousin, Blane Volovich, aunt, Sylvia Volovich, many nieces and nephews, and his best pal, JC, his dog.

Along with his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his brother, David Wuchevich.
