Sandra Denise Wilson, affectionately known as Sandy to her friends and family, passed away on August 28, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born on September 20, 1969, in Whittier, California, to Peter Carrell and Bonnie Black.

Although Sandy attended college, she later chose to dedicate her time to taking care of her home and family. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Mark Wilson of Durant, and her cherished children including her sons, Arthur Carrell and his wife Emily Love of Lewisville, Texas, and Omar Nava of Bozeman, Montana, and her daughter Ashlee Mccafferty of Austin, Texas. Sandy's spirit will live on through her grandchildren, Nathanel, William, Lawrence, and Josie, who will miss their grandmother's warmth and kindness. She also leaves behind her mother, Bonnie Black Monroe of Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Pete Carrell, her sister, Kimberly Carrell, and her aunt, Debbra.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
