Mr. Dennis L. Pike, 67, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Pike was born March 4, 1957, in Franklin, son of the late Ralph Pike and Jo Ann Ashley Pike. He was a graduate of Hogansville High School, attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and was a pipefitter and member of Local 72, Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Service Technicians. A longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, he was currently a member of Prospect Church in Heard County. Mr. Pike served many years as a recreation league football and baseball coach and was an avid golfer, but he especially loved being with his sons and being a PawPaw.
Survivors include his sons, Jonathan and Amy Pike and their children Emma, Ean and Evie, Adam and Malissa Pike and their children, Grace, Noah, Isaac, Hope, and Ethan and their grandson Asher, Jeremy and Christy Pike and their children Decklin, Amelia, and Alden; sister, Robin Pike; and brothers, Mike and Cathy Pike, Mark and Ima Pike, and Todd Pike. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Gregory Pike.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1, at Welcome All Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Brandon Brooks and the Reverend Jonathan Pike will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
