Carolyn (Pfrehm) McCall (1959-2024) of La Pine met her Savior face to face on August 14, 2024, after a brief illness.

Her family will always be grateful for the doctors and nurses of St. Charles Hospital for their compassion during her hospital stay.

Carol was born in Portland, Oregon in 1959 and was the fourth child of Ralph and Oveta Pfrehm. She grew up in Oregon, Idaho and California with her sisters and brother. Carol loved people and people loved Carol, she had a wonderful smile and a great laugh.

Carol is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Ron and many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Joan.

Carol made many friends while working at Hobby Lobby in Bend, and genuinely enjoyed her customers and coworkers. Carol loved to sew, knit, and needlepoint. She enjoyed any project which involved fabric and thread! Carol loved to be outdoors spending time with Ron hunting, hiking and fishing. Her garden was a reflection of her life, colorful and full of beauty. She enjoyed sitting on the porch with Ron and the dogs, and taking in the natural beauty around her. She will be greatly missed by those who remain.

For Carol, "It is not death to die." Carol is in Heaven with those loved ones who went before her, in the presence of her Lord for eternity.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 1pm at the First Baptist Church of Crescent, Oregon. 136463 Main Street, Crescent, Oregon
