Danny Gesselman, age 62, of Stanton, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Laurels of Carson City.

He was born on January 9, 1962, in Lansing, the son of Lloyd and Rita (Schafer) Gesselman. Danny attended Carson City schools, graduating in 1980.

Danny had an appreciation of classic cars and delighted in collecting them. He enjoyed fixing up and painting older cars; and even had his father’s old 1984 Chevy S10. Danny was very happy to retire at the age of 60, enjoying life on Lake Stanton.

Danny is survived by his mother Rita Gesselman; sister Julie Nelson; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Mass for Danny will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Carson City. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am until the time of services at the church. Those who wish may donate in Danny’s memory to his family. Services entrusted to Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
