Edwin Terry, age 99, of Charlestown, Indiana, formerly of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at River Crossing Assisted Living Center in Charlestown. He was born July 13, 1925, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Clarence and Mamie (Bailey) Terry.

Mr. Terry was a farmer and stone mason, having owned and operated a masonry company in the Louisville area for many years.

He was a member of the Charlestown First Baptist Church and enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball games.

His surviving family includes one daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Chris Cooper of Keaau, Hawaii; one son and daughter-in-law, Archie and Karen Terry of Borden, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters: Pam Terry and Mary Beams; one son, Joe Terry; and eleven brothers and sisters.
