Kimberly Jo Corp-Humes, 37, of Wyoming, passed away on August 17, 2024 at her residence. She was born on September 24, 1986 in Peoria, a daughter of Tammy L. Hutchison-Levi and Richard Lee Corp of Peoria, Illinois. She married Joshua T. Humes on September 21, 2019 in Peoria. He survives.
Kimberly is also survived by her mother, Tammy; her four sons, Ashton Anthony Heady, Payton Alexander Heady, Jase Chance Humes and Collin Cash Humes; her step-daughter, Tesla Nicole Humes; her three sisters, Amanda J. Knox and Courtney D. Knox of Peoria, Angel L. Cummings of Tremont; her brother, Ryan L. Staley of Pekin; grandmother, Marguerite Hutchinson; six nieces and three nephews whom she was very close to and proud of; and a host of aunts and uncles. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Corp.
Kimberly was a very loving wife and mother. She was very devoted to her four children. She was loved by so many people. She was fun, vibrant and outgoing. Kimberly had the biggest heart, with the most caring, loving personality you could ever imagine.
She loved decorating cakes, making beautiful flower arrangements, gardening and home decorating. She also loved her father’s 1980’s music. She had the heart of an old soul.
Kimberly worked at Kroger for many years.
Cremation has been entrusted to Schmidt-Haller Burial & Cremation Services in Peoria. Kimberly’s family will arrange a celebration of life gathering to take place at a later date. Information for this celebration of life gathering will be forthcoming.
