Linda Kay Cooper, age 77, of Hubbardston, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
She was born on September 17, 1946, in Ionia, the daughter of Clyde and Maxine (DeHart) Cooper. Linda married the love of her life, Donald Cooper, on April 4, 1981, on their family farm; together they welcomed four children: Minda, Jeffrey, Mark, and Brandie.
Linda was an avid fisher and enjoyed going to Mesick and Tippy Dam with Don. She also enjoyed her garden, and traveling with Don; together they traveled to Europe, took Caribbean cruises, and many other places. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald; children Minda (Bill) Andersen, Jeffrey (Dana) Cooper, Mark (Misty) Cooper, and Brandie (Betsy) Roberts; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Marcia VanDrie, Carol Telfor, Nancy Badder, and Cathy Lowery; brother Ronald Cooper; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Larry Cooper.
Per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a memorial gathering to be held at a later date with interment at Palo Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
