Le'Roy Robert Harris, born in 1942, was the beloved second eldest child of Robert Thomas Harris and Margaret Elizabeth Harris, He grew up in he heart of Watts, California, where his journey through life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a passion for craftsmanship.


Le'Roy's early education began at St. Lawrence Catholic School, followed by Compton Middle School, and he proudly graduated from Fremont High School. With a strong desire to master his trade, he furthered his education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where he specialized in welding.


Le'Roy's professional journey was one of remarkable achievement. He began his career as a spot welder, humbly crafting lamp shades. However, his skills and dedication soon saw him rise to greater heights. Le'Roy worked for nearly two decades at some of the most prestigious companies in the aerospace industry, including High Drill, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, and Boeing Aircraft. His expertise in welding, blueprint reading, metal fabrication, and installation earned him the reputation of a master welder.


A long-time resident of the Greater Los Angeles area, Le'Roy lived in various cities throughout Los Angeles County before spending the last 15 years of his life in Inglewood, CA. He eventually followed his entrepreneurial spirit and founded L and R Welding, a business he proudly operated in the city of Gardena, CA. Through his company, he continues to showcase his talents and contribute to the field he loved so much. His work was not just a job; it was a craft, a calling, and a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence.


Beyond his professional accomplishments, Le'Roy was a devoted family man. He was the proud father of four children, a loving grandfather to ten grandchildren, a great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren, and even a great-great grandfather to one. His legacy is one of hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of perfection in everything he did.


Le'Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him and whose lives were touched by his skillful hands, kind heart, and enduring love.
