Marina Ann Matchim, the beloved daughter of Arthur William Matchim & Adelaide Una Dyke Matchim, passed away peacefully at HSC on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
She is leaving to mourn a large circle of family, friends, co-workers & her precious cat Ruby.
Marina found much satisfaction and joy in helping others as a Licensed Practical Nurse in long-term care facilities in St. John’s, for over 30 years.
Marina Loved: Shopping for special bargains, attending church & associated functions that were church related, lunching with friends, reading books, watching TV - especially ER and Criminal Minds, and spending time with the elderly, as well as small children giving them kindness and attention.
Marina was very loyal, considerate and thoughtful to family & friends. Marina was a bright light in all of our lives and will be forever missed by all of us who loved her.
Cremation has taken place.
Donations in Marina’s Memory may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund in Eastport.
