ZOOM for Mutsago Visitation and Service

Addington Mutsago, a cherished father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 40. He leaves behind his beloved children, Ruth, Hylee, and Aviela, as well as his siblings Virginia, Haatsari, Edeline, Mutsa, Mazvita, and Tapiwa, along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

 Born on July 16, 1984, in Harare, Zimbabwe, Addington was the son of Hardwork Mutsago and Ruth Mutsago (née Nyamavuvu). He grew up in Bocha, Manicaland and attended Mt Dema Secondary School before moving to Cape Town, South Africa, around 2007. There, he developed his skills as an electrician, specializing in security system installations, a profession he was passionate about. 

 In March 2024, Addington migrated to Canada with his children after obtaining permanent residency status, embracing new opportunities and experiences. He was known for his love of music, dancing, and fitness, and he enjoyed playing soccer. Above all, Addington was deeply passionate about family and dedicated to building a lasting legacy. His contagious joy lit up any room, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

 A memorial service will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes - Albion Chapel on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Following the service, Addington's body will be repatriated to Zimbabwe, with arrival scheduled for September 11.
