Anastacia Guadalupe Montoya, 21 of Las Cruces, N.M. was called to heaven on August 17th,

2024, in Tucson A.Z.

     Anastacia Guadalupe Montoya was born on April 16th, 2003, in Las Cruces N.M. to parents

Juan Manuel and Bernice Montoya. Anastacia known to many as “Ana” graduated High School

in 2020 from Las Montanas.

     Ana's smile was so radiant, beautiful and sweet. The light she carried within was full of

compassion as she was an inspiration to many of her friends that walked with her on the

journey in recovery. Even though she was in recovery herself she was selfless and loved to help

others. She had many goals and dreams in life such as becoming a paramedic, although she

was about to start a new journey continuing her education to become a physical therapy

assistant. She was employed with Bio-One, a hazmat crime scene cleaning crew where she

took pride in her work.

     Ana's fun and crazy ways, (especially her Facebook posts) were always funny and would make

everyone smile, shake their heads and laugh. She loved to read, and also put her thoughts on

paper. Being with family and friends, listening to music and dancing, being free was always a

good time with her around. Ana was always cuddling with her mom. It was her comfort. Cooking

with her dad was one of her most favorite, but eating was first on the list. She never liked to be

"Hangry". Food was the way to her heart. Ana will forever be missed nonetheless her memories

and indefinite smile will live on forever in our hearts.

     She was preceded in death by, Her Auntie Lupita “Pita” Montoya, Grandmother Guadalupe

Montoya, Great Grandmother Encarnacion Rico. Her Nephew Jr. Jimenez, Great Grandmother

Josefina Padilla, Grandfather Johnny Benavidez, Cousin Syerra Benavidez, Cousin Jesse

Torres, Uncle Adan Benavidez, where she was embraced with open arms.

Survived by Her Parents Juan Manuel and Bernice Montoya, Brother Mark Benavidez, Sisters

Serina Benavidez and Sheyenne Montoya. Nieces Angelina Benavidez, Aaliyah Benavidez.

Nephews Elijah Jimenez, Jessiah Benavidez, DJ Garza and Armado Montoya. Grandmother

Patsy B. Tellez and her husband Manny Tellez. Many Loved Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, extended

family and friends.

     Pallbearers will be Mark Benavidez, Serina Benavidez, Sheyenne Montoya, Keana Montoya,

Destiny Orona, Alfredo Montoya. Honorary Pallbearers Elijah Jimenez, Jessiah Benavidez, DJ

Garza, Angelina Benavidez, Aaliyah Benavidez, Armado Montoya, Donnail Bailey.

     A funeral is scheduled for September 6th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. (Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m.)

Burial at Masonic Cemetery immediately following. Pastor Dayle Walker will officiate services.
