The moment has been determined by God and the task has been given to the Majestic Family to advise everyone that Mr. Gilbert Riggins Jr. departed this walk of life Sunday, August 25,2024 from Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC, leaving his bags behind but holding the hands of two angels dressed in white. 

Heartfelt Life Remembering Services have been planned by Mr. Riggins family and will proceed thusly. On Friday, September 6, 2024 between the hours of 5pm to 7pm, visitation will be held at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. On Saturday September 7, 2024 beginning at 11am, a sentimental “So Long” Celebration will be held also at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mr. Riggins physical delicate temple along with his cherished loved ones will be escorted to Mt. Olive AME Church cemetery in Elizabethtown, NC for Interment Rites. This will be a very solemn day for those close to Gilbert, however, all can find comfort knowing that after every dark cloud the sun will surely shine again.
