Sandra Sue Tracy Obituary

Sandra Sue Tracy was born November 14, 1940 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Samuel J. and Frances (Davis) Ulry. Sue passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Village Manor Nursing Home in Abilene.


Following her high school graduation, Sue attended Ohio State University. Sue lived in Ohio and California before settling in Abilene. On August 24, 1963 Sue was united in marriage to Edwin L. Tracy in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away September 12, 2009.


Sue was active in 4-H, Girl Scouts, Pee-Wee Football, and Hot Stove Baseball when her children were young. But her special love was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.


She is survived by her daughters Kathryn Tracy Ruehlen of Salina, Patty Reinarts and her husband Dan of Wooster, Ohio, Anna Tracy of Salina, sons Alex Tracy of Abilene, Mike Tracy of Lorain, Ohio, fifteen grandchildren and Twenty great grandchildren. Besides her husband Edwin, Sue was preceded in death by her brother Richard Ulry and her sister Barbara Howard.


Services for Sue will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Sutphen Mill Cemetery near Chapman. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
