It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of , who was born on April 25, 1963, and peacefully departed on August 17, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Darrell was born to Candance Everett-Scott and the late Rudolph Scott in Harrisburg, PA. He attended JP High and later joined the Job Corps. Throughout his career, Darrell worked diligently at various positions, including at Boston Stationery Company, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning Company, and finally, Rebook Corporation, from which he retired.
Darrell was not only dedicated to his professional life but was also deeply passionate about music, with a love for various genres, from old school to reggae to classic. His favorite artists were James Brown and Bob Marley. Known for his impeccable style, Darrell was often seen in a stylish hat and had a deep love for swimming, especially in his own pool. He also cherished spending time with friends and family, as well as working on his beloved GMC Yukon Denali.
In 2008, Darrell married his beloved wife Tammy in Stoughton, MA, and together they proudly raised their son, Darrell Jr. Darrell is survived by his loving wife Tammy, sons Justin Michael Everett and Darrell Len Jr, and Silas Mark and grandson Caleb Rowan Everett. He is also remembered by his mother Candance Everett-Scott, Mother-in-Law Nancy Rogers, brothers Robert and William, sister-in-law Stephine, brother-in-law Paul Rogers, sisters Vanessa, Tina, and Brandy, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Scott, father-in-law Paul Rogers, grandmother Mary Everett-McIntosh, brother James Everett, Aunt Bridgett Ann Ely-Williams, Uncle Willie Williams, and cousins Brandon Williams, Sean Ely, and Melissa Rene Key.
Darrell’s memory will be cherished and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
