Sierra A. Blackman Obituary

Ms. Sierra Ashanti Blackman of Richmond, Virginia departed this life on August

17, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1994, to Mr. Melvin K. Bullock and Ms.

Cynthia Blackman of Richmond, Virginia. She was blessed to have both of her

parents involved in her life as well as a special auntie (Joyce More-Lewis) who

provided nurturing and guidance throughout her life. Sierra was loved dearly by

her family and she loved her family immensely. Our beloved Sierra was educated

within the Richmond Public School System and graduated from George Wythe

High School. Sierra was a very out-going but loving person. She always kept her

smile through good times and bad times. Sierra loved God and enjoyed singing

and dancing. She made you laugh with her funny jokes and her food choices. She

loved her fried chicken! This young lady was so filled with joy and there isn’t

anything she would not do to help people. Sierra’s “warm heart” will forever give

us peace until we meet her again. Fly high my twin sister; we love you and miss

you.

Sierra A. Blackman was proceeded in death by grandparents; James and Ethel

Bullock, Morris Blackman and Barbara A. Covern, uncles; SSG(Retired) James C.

Bullock, Jr., SGT Nathaniel T. Bullock, Tyrone R. Bullock and Charles Lee Neal,
