Janet Leigh Perry was born June 13, 1946 from the union of Albert C. Edwards and Betty J. Edwards (Watson) both of whom preceded her in death.
Janet was the oldest of three children. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Withrow High School in 1964. She attended Central State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Education. Janet taught in Cincinnati Public Schools for over 20 years. She later founded Greater Cincinnati Christian Academy for grades K thru 6th.
Janet was married to Lawerence Perry who preceded her in death. To this union was born two sons. Janet was a caring soul who wanted the best for all those she loved.
Left to mourn her passing: sons, Lawrence Kahlil Perry and Lauren (Sharese) Kahsim Perry; three grandsons, Koba' Steele, Kaleb Perry, Lajayden Steele and Joshua Pettaway Perry; sister, Kelly Gardner; brother, Todd Watson; niece, Adriane (Kenneth) Carter; nephews, Jonathan, Taylor and Tyler Watson; great niece, Cidney Carter and a host of family and friends.
