Antonio Mendoza, 85 of Lubbock, Texas passed away from this life on August 17, 2024, at University Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1939, in Lubbock, Texas to Isidro Mendoza and Jesusa Delgado. He was the husband of Feliciana D. Mendoza. They married on July 21,1961 in Lubbock, Texas and shared 62 years together. He enjoyed buying cars and rims, and firearms. He will be remembered for having a huge heart and a helping heart.
He is survived by his wife, Feliciana Mendoza; his daughters, Marylou Zerrata, Gracie Vasquez, and Rosalinda Mendoza; his sons, Ricky Mendoza, Antonio Mendoza Jr., and Jesse Mendoza; his two grandchildren that he raised Venessa Mendoza and Kimberly Garcia; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Jesse Mendoza.
Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 23,2024 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Interment will follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
