Selma E. Simmons, 79, of Waverly passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

She was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Bronson and Agnes Willard; sisters, Velda and Delzora; brother, John; half-sister, Cretti; and aunt, Lucille Simmons.

Selma is survived by her brothers, Bernard Simmons and Kenneth Simmons of Waverly; and her niece, Sytretta Simmons and her son, Ryley Simmons.

She was born in New York City. She worked for over 17 years for Tops in Sayre as a cashier. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, watching horse races and yachts. She enjoyed traveling, going to Alaska and Colorado. She was a member of the local Red Hats Society.
